Davey set to make first Party Conference speech as Lib Dem Leader

Today (28/09/2020) Ed Davey will make his first speech at the Party’s Autumn Conference as Leader of the Liberal Democrats.

Ed is expected to pledge to become the voice of Britain’s nine million carers. 

He is will call out the Government for failing to deal with the Coronavirus pandemic, leaving millions of people behind.

On the economy, Ed will set out how the UK can build a new economy with millions of green jobs.

Ahead of the May 2021 elections, he will talk about how the crucial elections in Scotland will determine the future of our country.
